A common exam for Undergraduate Engineering admissions in two stages comprising of

  • JEE-Main: Conducted by CBSE for admissions to the NITs, IITs, CFTIs
  • JEE-Advanced: Conducted by IITs

JEE Main is the first stage of the Joint Entrance Examination, to get admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by many participating State Governments, and many other Institutions shall involve the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs. Subject Combinations at 10+2 level

B.E or B.Tech candidates should have Physics, Mathematics and one of the following:

  • Biology

  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science

B. Pharma candidates should have Physics, Chemistry and one of the following:

  • Mathematics

B. Arch or B. Planning candidates should have Mathematics, Physics and one of the following:
